The Beck Effect Foundation is a California-based nonprofit dedicated to creating safe paths forward for women and families in crisis.

Born from lived experience, The Beck Effect was founded on the belief that every act of compassion creates a ripple — an effect — that can transform lives. What starts as one helping hand can expand into waves of safety, empowerment, and hope.

We exist to ensure that survivors of domestic violence and families in vulnerable situations are not left to navigate crisis alone. Through relocation assistance, emergency essentials, and empowerment programs, we provide immediate relief and long-term support.

About Our Team

  • Founder & President

    Tiana Beck is a survivor, advocate, and community leader dedicated to empowering women and families in crisis. Having experienced firsthand the realities of domestic violence, Tiana turned her story into a source of strength and purpose.

    With resilience at the core of her journey, she founded The Beck Effect Foundation to ensure that no survivor has to navigate crisis alone. Her vision is to create ripples of change that grow into waves of safety, empowerment, and hope.

    Through her leadership, The Beck Effect has become more than an organization — it is a movement built on compassion, community, and the belief that small acts of support can create life-changing effects.

  • Chief Financial Officer

    Andrea oversees the Foundation’s financial stewardship with diligence and care. She brings practical experience and a deep commitment to supporting women and families, ensuring that The Beck Effect operates with accountability and transparency.

    Katrina contributes her organizational expertise and passion for advocacy to the Foundation’s governance. She ensures that board records and decisions remain clear, consistent, and aligned with the mission to empower survivors.
